In domestic market, POVOS exceeds Braun in 2011, and exceeds Superman in 2012. We made efforts to exceed Panasonic in personal care products scales in 2013. Against the market trend, POVOS has made magnificent performance in sales in the last three years. The scales of operation, profit, and net profit rate have been lifted remarkably. After craft innovation, new material application, new technology improvement, the scale of charges and raw material costs are lowered continuously. The profitability is steadily improved. The net profit rate and rate of return on net assets are rising compared with the same period of last year. The average accounts receivable turnover ratio and inventory turnover ratio are also higher than the same period of last year. The whole operation capability is remarkably improved. Also the debt paying ability is good, realizing basically OPM mode.



Market Layout

The POVOS shaver, hair dryer, humidifier achieved remarkable growth in attention rate. The personal care products of POVOS are listed NO. 5 for attention rate online. The shaver, hair dryer, and lady shaver are listed top three. The hair dryer, hair straightener and lady shaver are top in searching rate of Taobao website, and the humidifier is listed NO.2 in searching rate. Our market channel has been changed magnificently in the last three years. The one with proper channel gets the market. Through continuous expansion and careful maintenance, our traditional retail terminals and sales channel websites have been ten times increased. The sales terminals are the most precious fortune of POVOS. They are critical for sustainable development and finance insurance, which are core competitive power of POVOS. 


For the new sales channels, we have electronic commerce, group-buying, mailing, TV sales, which become new support of company management.


About our markets, the orders were mainly from Asia three years ago. Presently customers are from Asia, Africa, Europe, America and other places of the world. The number of customers has increased by times.


Industry Layout

In 2010, we only have shavers and hair drier, Now three years later, we have nine categories of personal care products, including new rotary shaver, hair clipper, hair straigthener, curling iron etc. Four categories of home appliances including garment steamer etc. Two categories of home care appliances like foot bath etc. And we have two categories of environmental products like humidifier. We developed 103 modes of new products in the three years, which made two thirds of the sales, reaching 78% of the total, and most of them are successful projects. POVOS invests much to technical research. 157 patents in three years, averagely 5 sets per month.


    


Manufacture Layout

After three years efforts, we have enlarged our manufacture area much both in Shanghai and Zhejiang, The Zhejiang factory has reached 140000 square meters. Put Shanghai center and Zhejiang center together, the total manufacture field will be 200,000 square meters in total.


Teamwork Layout

In 2010, the total number of employees is 300 more or less, including management team and manufacture workers. At present, the number of employees is more than 2000, technical personnel have increased by 5%, and personnel with college degree or above have increased by 15%. The employee quality is remarkably improved. The most important, we bring in talent and experts in each product field, and achieve fast expansion and development in such fields.


Management Layout

We made full implementation of financial budget and performance appraisal system, forming perfect management system and performance oriented culture.


The financial budget system is made according to yearly and monthly budget. It is to ensure achieving sales task of every month. Every department has signed yearly responsibility contract, responsible for management and operation evaluation. At the same time, monthly evaluation is connected with personal performance evaluation, and their monthly salary. The sales task is shared. Finally every person in the company is in management. It develops an enterprise culture of evaluation and performance orientation.


Porter has said that the highest state is single and extreme. I will narrate based on several points: management tasks of next three years, market focus, industry focus, manufacture focus, teamwork focus, and management focus. After the narration, I hope we reach a consensus with my colleagues, and complete our three year tasks together.

In traditional sales, we concentrate on central customers. We respect the features of shaver industry. Through development of central customers, we hold distribution sales meeting, put in motion distributions of some areas, and activate terminals of different sales channels.


In electronic commerce, our exclusive stores concentrates special speciation sold at special store in Taobao online shop. The searching rate is listed in top three. The Business-to-Customer mode concentrates in Jingdong (JD.com). Through 2688.com, we make online and office sales with Alibaba, which is online to offline mode, a creative mode for sales. We make our full efforts to develop electronic business from overseas customers, moulding our self-owned brand, which benefits both the nation and the people. The overseas electronic business is the best way for POVOS to become an international brand. It will create a route for Chinese appliance brand internationalization. Exceeding old brands by corner overtaking, we cannot miss the chance. Our exciting dream is to make POVOS an international brand well known to the world.


Television purchase concentrates on satellite television platforms, by which we make a trade barrier to our competitors. At the same time, we absorb purchasing channel to POVOS, holding big broadcasts to overseas, raising our brand impressions.

3) Industry Domain Focus

In the area of group buying and mailing present, we concentrate on China Mobile, banks, air companies, cigarettes, and State-owned Key Enterprises, who provide us continuous and steady orders. Combining distributions all over China, we make a special present mailing mode to promotion sales.


4) Manufacture Focus

We will make further division of labour based on present operation mode on the manufacture fields. Each field shall raise its efficiency, especially for top products. The manufacture cost shall be to extreme, or smallest. The purchase departure shall take advantage of big quantity purchase, and get smallest cost for single set. The manufacture department shall concentrate on top products, and workers shall be familiar to the process. Thus, single set manufacture efficiency can be highly improved, and single set cost is decreased to the lowest.


5) Team Focus

We continue to absorb technical experts and talent, train management experts in our company, and weed out the weakest employee. We focus on excellent team, choose and eliminate personnel by competition.

We apply budget rules, which mean all cost including manufacture, management, sales, risk indicators, account receivable, inventory turnover etc shall be with a budget plan. There will be no paying without a budget plan. All the expenses are monitored by the budget plan. We concentrate on responsibility to release our activeness. The management responsibility shall be specified to manufacture line monitor and front-line salesmen. In this way the people on real operation can take decisions, and people on front-line of management can generate performance, out of their own heart. The final rule is to realize heavy burden supported by everyone and tasks realized by everyone.


Finally, we have to be strict, precise, and accurate in management process. We input great importance to details, since details can decide success or failure.


The thoughts are easy to be understood, but hard to realize. From layout to focus, they are only several words. Many people understand that enterprise can succeed by actions. However, it is a problem for many enterprises to realize ideas. They are clear in tactics but not able to operate. I want to encourage our colleagues by Jack Welch-Winning’s words” I succeeded because I did it, while others only thought of it”.
